Welcome to my blog
Hello, my name is Kate Davis and I am a student at FIS at U of T. This blog is part of a course I am taking on technology applications. I will use it mainly to post assignments.... you can all look forward to an exciting review W3C within the next couple of weeks...but I also have a couple lovely pictures taken by a friend of mine on our travels to put up. Happy reading.
Meteora

This is a picture of Greece where I was hiding from the law in Stockholm. It took a few attempts to reach the top but finally after the 12th try I was able to pull my body overe the edge to reach the monestary. Once there, I found that there were several others there in this tiny room, also hiding, I never asked what from.

Introduction
Hello everyone My name is Kate Davis. I have a BA and a
MA in Russian literature and I am in my second year at
FIS in the library stream.
Although I am comfortable using basic computers
applications, I haven’t really needed to do anything
more sophisticated and have always been a bit
intimidated by the more complicated things computers are
used for. (This is the first thing I have ever posted
and I have been putting it off because I am irrationally
uncomfortable with the idea of having a message of mine
posted) However, this summer, I was working at the
Ryerson Library and was asked to help fix some coding on
their website. I was pleased to discover that it
actually wasn’t as difficult as I imagined. So I am
hoping the same thing will happen here and by the end of
term I will be a master of Access and blogging and SQL
(or at least somewhat competent.)
